Duplex houses, Mount Albert Road

We were engaged by our client to design a set of two duplex houses in the Mt Albert area. The site is a corner site bound by two arterial roads which presented some traffic issues to consider. As there were no parking available on the street, the client was set on having a double garage for each unit. Each unit has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large roof balcony. The construction is to be precast concrete panel inter-tenancy walls with timber-framed interior walls. The upper floors will be timber floors and a concrete slab foundation.
