For this existing 3 level house built in early 2000 with a parapet roof, membrane decks and direct fix plaster cladding, CCG was engaged to provide a recladding design solution for the house. As the house was classified as ‘very high risk’ under the Building Code, the challenge was to design with reduced weathertightness risk while also improving the look of the building. The planning control for the building height is at its maximum as is, so roof pitch could not be increased, it was proposed to introduce a fully torched membrane roof with overhangs and strategic introduction of sun rooms at most vulnerable places.
Recladding of an existing two level house on the North Shore. We provided a quality documentation service and thereafter completed 2 more recladding projects on this local road, as well as the design of another new recladding project.
